Expedition No 1: Shallow Self is not really a debut for long-time bop maker Pasha Pear, who previously released music as Lunar Day. In addition to his many solo works, Pasha has been collaborating with other experimental Chicago artists for over a decade. Helming numerous, genre-bending projects such as The Crustations, Flash Flash Comfort and Bridges of Königsberg. All while drumming for the impactful Chicago sludge-pop band Not For You.

Expedition No 1: Shallow Self is a genre-hoping exploration that spans the landscapes of noise, psych, electro-pop and industrial music.
